2023: Imbolc

/ immeasurable heavens

wordless/ this feeling
trying to hold in mind/ understanding
i don’t understand
noise/ details of one human mind
its pressing concerns
in the frame of civilization
politics/ psychology/ ambition/ technology violence/ love/ famine/ prizes
noise/ details

in the frame of our vast galaxy
100 thousand million stars/ just like our little sun
only to discover the noise/details of our galaxy
in the frame of a supercluster of galaxies
100,000 galaxies strong/ 500 million light years across

/Lanikea
and that/
in the frame of a universe densely packed with galactic superclusters a breathing universe/ expanding/ surging/ burning out
oddly looking like the inner structure of a living human cell/

wordless
i understand/ i don’t understand
i cannot hold it in my one human mind when i try/ the frame empties
no noise/ no details
only empty frame
